This Meetup group is for those of us who love to hike with our dogs. We seek out the best dog-friendly trails in Oakland and nearby cities. We meet in small groups and our goal is fun for our dogs in a safe and friendly group. Our canine membership is very diverse ranging from a 6 pound Mini to a 180 pound Great Dane. We organize fun and adventurous outings for dogs and their owners in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently most of our hikes are in the South Bay Area. We occasionally offer walks in the afternoon and/or evenings and training sessions with a dog trainer. Our sponsors are businesses that offer their free time to organize hikes, walks and other fun outings for you and your dog. We are solely run by volunteers. Here, the dogs are able to freely run and play together after they have received all their vaccinations. We adopt a lot of small breed puppies and dogs, whelping mothers and emergency cases.
