Explore and enjoy the outdoors, and make new, local friends, human and canine!

Our main activity will be hiking throughout Somerset and Morris Counties. We will also occasionally stop by a local dog park. This is a very laid back group with easy going outings.

All dogs are welcome, large and small. We will have an occasional small dog only meet up for those little ones who are timid around the giants.

All walks are free. All breeds of dogs are welcome. Leashes required. Social dogs only. (No aggressive dogs.) Must have up to date rabies and distemper vaccinations, bordetella optional. Must be spayed or neutered.

No sollicitations please. This website is for organizing meetups only.

Merrill Creek is a big reservoir with a trail going along the lake 3/4 of the way. Hikes could be routed to be short or long. She went along the waters edge then looped back to the parking lot. The trails are easy and well marked and with the lake constantly on your left side as a guide it is so intuitive, this one could probably be done without scouting first. Read more
