Explore and enjoy the outdoors, and make new, local friends, human and canine!
Our main activity will be hiking throughout Somerset and Morris Counties. We will also occasionally stop by a local dog park. This is a very laid back group with easy going outings.
All walks are free. All breeds of dogs are welcome. Leashes required. Social dogs only. (No aggressive dogs.) Must have up to date rabies and distemper vaccinations, bordetella optional.
Please note: For the safety of all, dogs must be spayed or neutered.
No sollicitations please. This website is for organizing meetups only.
Our next MeetupSandy Hook Gateway National Park
Based on our recent poll, 5 out of 5 members are interested in a Sandy Hook beach walk even though this is far from Somerset County. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Dogs are allowed on the beach side until March 15th.
This will be an easy to moderate hike beginning at Horseshoe Cove parking area. We will walk a combination of the bike trail, dune trail and on the beach. Read more
