Introduction: My husband and I like many of you are new to the Houston area. We joined the meetup to meet other pet lovers. We enjoy taking our dogs out to events. (they love it to)
What General breed or mix is Your Dog? If you're not sure - give a guess, we're NOT being picky! What's your dog's name?: We have 3 dogs. Claire is a Golden Retriever, Carter is a very unique dog. He is part Rhodesian ridgeback/mastiff. Our third dog is a bullmastiff.
What area of Houston do You and Your Dog live? How did You and Your Dog find each other?: Northeast. Close to Kingwood,Humble and Attascocita, Tx.
Which are You and Your Dog's favorite Dog Parks? Do you visit the large or the small dog part of the parks? Favorite Dog-Friendly taverns, restaurants and/or establishments?: We visit a dog park that just opened in Kingwood. On weekends since the weather is cooler we often go to Bear Creek-Woodlands. We also enjoy Millie Bush and Ben Bowen.
What is Your Dog's favorite social activity?: Dog parks, the beach, pet friendly restaurants, car rides etc...
Are there any special considerations which Members need to be aware of when socializing with Your Dog?: Emma the bullmatiff sometimes runs towards other dogs. She sometimes looks overly aggressive but she does not bite or hurt people or other dogs. She is really good with children and likes people. This is her strange way of being dominant. At first it looks like she is starting a rumble. I am working with her to stop the initial bully issue.
