Introduction: We enjoy meeting people and going to new places that are dog friendly, where we can play or just hang out. We also like exploring new places and activities in the Houston area.
What General breed or mix is Your Dog? If you're not sure - give a guess, we're NOT being picky! What's your dog's name?: Irish Setter - although he's from Mexico, so he's multicultural!
What area of Houston do You and Your Dog live? How did You and Your Dog find each other?: We live in SW Houston, between Sugar Land and the Millie Bush Bark Park.
Which are You and Your Dog's favorite Dog Parks? Do you visit the large or the small dog part of the parks? Favorite Dog-Friendly taverns, restaurants and/or establishments?: The Millie Bush is closest to us, but we are always looking for other places to go where it is grassy and less muddy after rains. We enjoyed the Velvet Melvin, Mission Burritos, and Beck's Prime for dinner and Yappy Hours.
What is Your Dog's favorite social activity?: Rex is an expert ball player/catcher/fetcher. He thinks it is only polite to offer everyone a chance to throw the ball (or squeaky toy) to him.
Are there any special considerations which Members need to be aware of when socializing with Your Dog?: He is 10 yrs old, so he gets tired and hot more easily than he used to.
