Dallas Academy is a private, co-ed school in East Dallas near White Rock Lake that serves bright students with learning differences (including Attention Deficit Disorder, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and math and auditory processing problems). Many of our students become frustrated in the usual school atmosphere because of academic and social difficulties. The small class size (8 to 13 students), low total enrollment (160 to 170 students), encouraging atmosphere and experienced faculty enable our students to learn tools and methods to deal with and overcome their learning challenges. Net proceeds of this event will benefit the Dallas Academy Scholarship (80%) and Annual Funds (20%).
