Saturday, November 7: Annual City Wide Pet Day at Owen’s Spring Creek Farm 10 a.m-4 p.m. Special appearance by The BoDee Girl.
Owens Farm Plano Rd. and Lookout Dr.
$1 Admission, Bring Your Pet!

This is such a great little event. I have been 3 years in a row. There are booths with freebies, music, a pet parade and contests. Last year Skidboot Jr. was there. (If you are a dog person you know who Skidboot is. If not Google it.)

The weather is usually pleasant and the fall foliage is beautiful.

A&B Kennel Club (indoor Pet boarding/doggie daycare/grooming in Wiley) is having their 2nd Annual Parade and costume contest. A great Halloween playtime event! Check out the facility. We board our dogs here when we go out of town. Sorry, for the last-minute notice, but we just got from vacation and I didn't think to post this before we left. Rudy and Taz enjoyed their week at A&B. This would be a great time to check them out and to have a fun afternoon. We can't make it, but hope to hear from those who do.

I could not find and information about this other than on Hawaiian Falls web site. They don't list any details but since they listed it on their events section I think it will happen.

I heard that Operation Kindness was not having the event this year and after seeing that it is not on their calendar I am inclined to believe that Hawaiian Falls is going to do it by themselves.

Here is the link to their site listing it.... Hawaiian Falls Web Page

If anyone sees any additional info about this please send it to me..

This is without a doubt, the best one of the year. See you there.

I have been to this one a few times and it was alot of fun. There is alot of shade at the location and they had some pretty good bands playing live music.

You and your furry best friends are invited to join us for an unforgettable afternoon of fun benefiting Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas.

Dog Day Afternoon, presented by Pet Supplies Plus, is an amazing festival where you and your pooch can enter our Canine Contests for great prizes, visit our "doggie mall" with unique vendors, watch demos from Dallas Dog and Disc Club and Search one Animal Rescue, or take in the sights of dog attendees in every breed and size imaginable!

Dog Day Afternoon will take place at Flag Pole Hill at White Rock Lake.
Flag Pole Hill is East of Central Expressway,
just above Northwest Highway at North Buckner Blvd.
