- "Hi, my name is Deanna and this is Valentino, my Golden "Heinz" rescued from the "ER" at ACS last Feb. He loves going on outings with Loa, my toy poodle mix - also a rescue from ACS. We're looking forward to meeting new friends and new discoveries!"

- "I am a volunteer at ACS and AAPAW (Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare). Valentino was diagnosed with Addison's Disease 12/07 and as soon as he's stabilized, we'll join in the fun! Loa rides along in her "doggie bag" on outings."
