Southeast TX Dog Park Group

Calling all dog owners in Southeast TX to pledge support for establishing off-leash dog parks in Jefferson and Orange County, TX-- an enclosed area for our dogs to run, romp and play.

The City of Beaumont will be creating the first local off-leash Bark Park in 2008, located in Ida Reed Park (8th St. & Louisiana). We have approached other municipalities about the need for more community dog parks.

Please come and join us the first Sunday of each month at a designated area park. Not all dogs are dog park ready; many of our dogs need socialization. The meetups are designed to help socialize dogs (on-leash) in advance of opening day of the first dog park.

It doesn't matter what your favorite breed is, only that you love dogs!
